Week 2 Results

With much deliberation, so much consideration as there were many at the top, Dana and I agree that the maker of the Garment of the Week is Angie. Congratulations, Angie!

Here is Angie’s garment, with all those gathers!

The sad news is we also have to decide who will not be continuing in the competition.

This sewist made a challenging garment this week and we loved the fabric choices. Throughout the competition, we noticed she is very good with color combinations. Dana and I especially liked her touches of whimsy and how she added her unique touch to the patterns. As Dana put it, “she has a good eye and good taste!” We really enjoyed seeing her creations. We regret to say that this week we will be saying goodbye to Kristen. We wish Kristen all the best and know that she will be creating many more adorable doll clothes.

The brief for Week 3 will be going out today and we’re looking forward to seeing what everyone creates.

I will be posting Monday with the creations that the competitors make for Week 3.
