Rainy Monday
It’s finally acting like Oregon and raining this morning. Last week was a super busy week filled with soccer, school, and hexagons. This came and it’s made doing hexagons much more fun! Hexies can be a little addictive.
The cutting out part is not really where the creativity comes in. Does anyone else feel that way?
I fill my little container and have been taking it everywhere. It’s the perfect size to sit on my lap and take with me in the car.
I’ve done several hexagon projects and will share them soon. One is for the AccuQuilt blog and will go live on Monday next week. This is one I made for my daughter:
Yesterday we had a morning visitor in our backyard… She sat quietly and let us look at her and take some picture. All the while the crows threw a terrible tantrum.
This week, I need to plan what quilt block the youth quilt guild will make at our meeting. I’m thinking about strings…and for the advanced members– maybe half square triangles?
