Sew in Style Blog Tour and Sewing Camp
Good morning! I can’t believe it’s half way through summer. Since we had one camper send in a photo last week, it was quite easy to draw a winner….Anna is the lucky winner of some great RJR Fabric bundles again this week. Well, luck had little to do with it;) And your messenger bag looks great. Congratulations!!
I hope you’re seeing that the more you sew the easier it becomes and the better you become at it! This week my local campers will be joining you, Anna! They are hard at work learning how to trace their paper patterns to preserve them. Pin the patterns to the fabric, measuring the grainline, etc. Their first project is the miniskirt project and they will start a second project today.
Any youth is welcome to sew and share their photos with me for a chance to wind some wonderful fabric bundles!
I Draft, She Sews
Meanwhile, my daughter meanwhile finished her 4-H sewing projects for the fair. She is 12 and among her sewing projects, she made these skaters skirts, using the serger for the first time. She loves them and they turned out near perfect! I’m so proud of her and wanted to share her work.
