2024 Finishes

It was an interesting year. I haven’t posted much. In fact I disabled the website, because it was hacked. I decided to enlist some help and got it back. I’ve made a few things that I wasn’t able to share here, so I thought I would get back into the habit of sharing.
I sewed several things for a charity auction. This outfit and accessories inspired by Beverly Cleary’s character Henry Huggins to represent Oregon.

Another auction donation for the CFA, United Kingdom themed. The mini log cabin quilt pattern is available for free here.

More charity sewing.

This was my Dress a Sasha challenge entry at Festival. Theme was English Country Garden or English Tea. I painted the backdrop and created an English country garden tea party with faeries.

For inspirational fun, I created a mini union jack block and after quilting and binding it, gifted it to my friend.

Made my son a portrait quilt of his polydactyl cat, using this photo.

Made this ipad case for myself.

A fun Halloween quilt, inspired by the children’s picture book, The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt

I also donated a twin quilt and matching doll quilt that I had designed and made for my book, Me & My 18″ Doll. The proceeds go to a children’s charity for help and research for childhood cancers. Final bid $500!! Plus the winning bidder donated them to the Ronald McDonald House.

These are some of my sewing highlights anyway.
Keep on Stitching!
