Scrappy Mini Quilt Free Pattern

Scrappy Mini Quilt Free Pattern

Gridded stabilizer template printed on Pattern Flex© makes this so carefree and fast to sew up. Creates perfect points on these tiny squares! Here is a free pattern with a complete photo tutorial of the technique.

Mug Mat size, using one panel

The squares in the patchwork finish at 1″ square. Look at those points, and with little to no effort! A fantastic looking project that takes an afternoon to sew up. Perfect for gifts or quick holiday accent decor.

This method is really easy. My daughter quickly made a mug mat for her friend in an afternoon, while I made 4 panels for a larger doll quilt. I donated this doll quilt to the Sasha Festival, which raises money for children’s charities. It was given away in a raffle and I happen to be sitting next to the lucky winner, which was a happy surprise. Everyone I met at the festival was very nice and welcoming.
