Sewing Class this Saturday
Only 2 more days until my live teaching event! I’m teaching how to sew the Sugar n Spice apron project (Avery Lane Cottagecore Gingerbread Apron) with all its details.
I’m demonstrating how I work through all the details and include alternative embellishments as well. We’ll chat face to face and you can ask questions along the way to help you take your sewing to the next level. It’s great for beginners, too. Included in the workshop is how to make it a beginner friendly project and I will walk you through the project, demonstrating how I get the details to look beautifully sewn and an extensive gathering tutorial.
It’s being recorded, so you can watch it later as you sew along with all the video tutorials. So even if you can’t attend live, you can still take the class!
I’ve been having fun creating different themed aprons this week. It’s such a great base design for adding your own twists to. Alice needs a pocket, according to my daughter, so I borrowed the pocket pattern from Me & My 18″ Doll book.
Here’s another variation: French Bakery Pinafore Apron.
Saturday is the last day to sign up and have access to the recorded workshop. After Saturday, you won’t be able to purchase the recorded class.

The Handmade Holiday Bazaar includes classes with 11 other instructors and 12 patterns, including the Sugar n Spice Apron pattern, which includes patterns for both 18″ Dolls and 14-15″ dolls. Here’s a look at all the projects.
Hope to see you there! It’s going to be a lot of fun!
