Doll Days! SWAP Challenge
I’m so excited for this sewing challenge! We’re using patterns from my book Doll Days! Sew an Everyday Wardrobe for 18″ Dolls to create doll wardrobe sets. A lot of people have signed up (don’t worry, there’s still time to sign up) and their SWAP plans sound really cute… and so creative. I’m absolutely swooning over their fabrics 🙂
Don’t worry, there’s still time to sign up. The Doll Days! SWAP Challenge ends Jan. 1st. See the end of this post for more details about signing up!
The prizes are gorgeous, fabric Art Gallery Fabric bundles! Click on the photos to be redirected to the Art Gallery Fabrics’ website and see close-up details of the fabric collections.
I designed 2 more bonus patterns for Doll Days! Sew an Everyday Wardrobe for 18″ Dolls Some cute little
Khaki-style pants.
A little Crop Spring Jacket.
Then I pulled out some samples from Doll Days! and made a SWAP (Sewing With A Purpose) collection, as an example for this sewing challenge.
Sewing with a purpose challenges the sewist to sew a mix and match, multi functional wardrobe. In this swap, it’s much more just for the fun of it.
To join the Doll Days! SWAP sewing challenge, visit our Avery Lane Patterns Sewing group on Facebook. Bonus patterns are given to those who are members of the facebook group and own Doll Days!
Happy Sewing!
