Doll Dress Boutique Sew Along and Sewing Challenge

The Doll Dress Boutique Sew Along starts next week. We will be sewing the Tea Party Dress for 18″ dolls, such as American Girl Dolls.

The Tea Party dress has a pretty sweetheart neckline, with scooped back and a double layered skirt. I’m going to share all the little things I do when sewing these details to make it easy to get great results!

Since this dress has a few techniques that may be new or tricky for some, I’m excited to sew along with members of my Avery Lane Patterns Sewing Group on facebook and answer any questions that come up. I’ll also demonstrate how to get that sweetheart neckline to maintain its pretty shape.

I’ll be posting photos and tips here on the blog as well.
