Fall Inspiration

Fall Inspiration

Fall brings so much natural beauty and wonder. I love living in the Pacific Northwest for all its fall sensory experiences. Cool, crisp mornings, color all around, and the spice that fills the air. The other day, my daughter and I stepped outside to find loads of oak leaves swirling and twirling around– as if it were snowing a flurry of leaves.Made us both smile in wonderment.

We went to the farm last week–it’s always an amazing experience. The sun shone bright on the leaves that were changing colors, making them even more glorious. As soon as you reach the fruit and vegetable stand, the smell of fresh, homemade doughnuts overwhelms and tempts you, awakens the senses on so many levels. I love this season.

This season, I’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response to my new book, Doll Dress Boutique. So many people are sharing what they’ve sewn and it truly is inspirational and heart-warming.

Some are getting an early start on other seasons and holidays 🙂

These next dresses were made by a young lady who learned to sew a few years back with the help of her mom and Sew in Style – Make Your Own Doll Clothes. So inspirational to see her creations. She’s did a great sewing job!

You can purchase my new book, Doll Dress Boutique, online and in quilt shops. I’m currently sold out and will be ordering more soon. Click on the link to go directly to the publisher’s website to purchase through them. Ebook is also available.

Happy Fall!
