The Doll Days Dress Design Challenge “Make Mine Vintage, Please!”

Participants made a dress using a dress pattern of their choice from the book Doll Days! Sew an Everyday Wardrobe for 18″ Dolls.

Such lovely dresses! Voting ends next week,  11/24/17. The first place winner will receive a copy of Sew in Style -Make Your Own Doll Clothes to gift to a young person, along with fabric and trims. Give the gift of sewing and help motivate her to create for her dolls ♥

Here is the sewing sampler prize. Each ribbon and trim measures at least a yard: 5/8″ and 3/8″ grosgrain ribbons, satin ribbon with printed flowers, 1/4″ velvet ribbons, cotton and nylon laces (5 pieces), little flower embellishments (3), tiny buttons in several colors (2-5 of each color), 3 coordinating fat quarters (quilt shop quality), and a free pattern for my Knot Bow Headband for 18″ dolls, such as American Girl Dolls. This gift is certain to inspire her to learn to sew and tap into her creativity!

The Sew in Style book will come wrapped in a pretty and sparkly fat quarter of Cloud 9 fabric and tied with a ribbon. This will be such a wonderful present, don’t you think?

Second and third place winners will receive Avery Lane PDF patterns of their choice.
