Kids Sewing for American Girl Dolls
The summer just seems to be cruising along. Last week’s winning entry was Ingrid…she sent in a photo of her doll’s Simple Top she sewed using her copy of Sew in Style. Congratulations, Ingrid! Your doll’s top looks awesome.
Ingrid also made the skirt–super cute!!
Though things were slow last week with just the one entry, this week we already have over 10 shares! We have a wonderful assortment of projects 🙂
Here they are in all their glory. All made by kids using the book Sew in Style.
Knit t-shirts 🙂
Yoga pants, any-dolly?
Does your doll want to go camping or maybe to a slumber party?
More fabulous looking Miniskirts! The Simple Miniskirt is a great first sewing project for kids.
It’s lovely to hear from the parents and kids about their experiences sewing with my book Sew in Style. The labor of love in action, bring sewing to kids one project at a time 🙂
This kiddo is sewing from Doll Days! She made the Modern-Vintage Sundress–sewing gathers for the first time! Looks great 🙂
Thank you all for sending in your photos, sharing your creativity with us, and sharing your stories!! Keep sewing and sharing– it’s very inspiring 🙂
The drawing is on Monday, July 25. There’s plenty of time to join in! Just sew a project and share it with me via email or on the facebook page.
Hope your having a great summer!
