Sew in Style Summer Sewing Event for Kids

Everybody wins! We are wrapping up the first session today and everyone who enter is getting a prize of free fabric 🙂 The kids who shared their projects are so talented (their projects were brilliant!!!)–thank you for sharing with us!   I was thrilled to see kids sewing from Sew in Style.

I will be re-organizing the Summer Sew and Share events to be a little easier for the participants. We will start the second session very soon, so kids keep sewing!! It will be time to share those projects soon.

 

Next session we will have you share by sending your pictures to my email. This way I will be able to share it and it will be way more visible. The event page was a little tricky to work with and a little hidden, which I didn’t like. I did receive a few messages telling me it was confusing, so I will try to make things more simple. Sound good?

Here’s how it all works:

1.  Kids Sew from their copy (or library copy) of Sew in Style.

2.  Kids can have help with any of the steps (even most of the steps if they need the help-kids just need to have helped with at least one step).

3.  Take a picture of your project and send it to my e mail AveryLaneDesigns [at] comcast [dot] net

4.  Please include the child’s first name, so it’s easier to do the drawings.

 

 

 

Every time you sew and share the picture of your project, you will automatically be entered into the prize drawing that week. At the end of each week during session 2, I will do at least 1 prize drawing. The more entries we have, the more fabric I will give away!

1 photo = 1 entry
Each photo has to show a unique item and not a previously shared project
If you made 2 things (a shirt and shorts) then share 2 photos for 2 entries! (each photo gets a number for the purpose of a drawing )
There is no limit to how many sewing projects can be entered each week
Prizes are mailed to US Addresses only.

August 1

Drawings will take place on Mondays, so your photos need to be sent or posted by Sunday midnight before  for the purpose of a drawing.
