Summer Reflections
Summer’s almost here. The last few weeks of school always seem to get a bit crowded feeling. Music concerts were great this year! Soccer tournaments and graduations, end of year parties and planning activities to fill up our summer. I’m feeling thankful for the family time we always seem to manage to find through all the happy chaos.
It’s the quiet, average everyday moments I like best. This summer, I plan to create more of those. Worry much less about all the other stuff. That’s just noise. When they were little, we had more time to ourselves. Times when we weren’t part of the world, but created our own space. I will be deliberate in trying to be completely present with my kids and husband this summer. I feel when I’m aware of this it’s easier to create a better balance between activities and peaceful family time.
I hope you are able to find that balance this summer.
