Playful Pinwheels Baby Quilt
I’m embarrassed to see that I haven’t posted in over a month. I’ve been sewing a lot for Spring Quilt Market in Salt Lake City and has me busier than usual. I’m not sure how other busy moms balance it all. I seem to be juggling a lot more, even though my kids are older now. I’m happy that the youth quilt guild is going strong and they’ve learned 2 more blocks and are bringing in so many great looking projects for our Sew and Tell portion.
Here’s a project I made recently for the AccuQuilt Blog. I did free motion quilting in the solid white squares and tried a new design that I have never done before. I really like how it turned out.

I used a mix of Moda and Dear Stella Fabrics for the pinwheels. Here’s the quilt top finished
I did a scrappy binding.
See my wonky FMQ flowers?
And here’s the back
I hope to post more regularly in the coming weeks, but it’s a bit sketchy. I’m deep in doll clothes sewing (from my new book Doll Days!). Wish me luck 🙂
