Lattice Quilt: A Modern Quilting Tutorial

Hello, and happy Leap Day! We’re not doing anything special…though this weekend was filled to the max with activities. Sewing classes on Friday, my oldest daughter played in a chamber orchestra concert, my older son celebrated his birthday, and we traveled almost to the California border for my youngest son’s soccer game. I collapsed last night when we finally got home and could relax.
Last week I finished my guest post for AccuQuilt, A Modern Lattice Quilt Tutorial. It’s a free pattern to make this quilt. I love the fresh look. You can find the free quilt pattern here on the AccuQuilt Blog

I didn’t have enough of the blue fabric that matched perfectly for the back, so I pieced together a giant log cabin block for the back. It kind of looks cool, in my opinion.

This week, I’m working on some things for the Little House on the Prairie quilt show/class next weekend that my daughter and I are attending. We’re very excited about the show and the fabrics!! We’ve been watching our Little House show DVDs and quilting/sewing some cute doll size projects. I’ll share more when we have finished something to share.
Thanks for stopping by!
