Twirly Block Doll Quilt

Avery’s bear needed a new quilt. I needed to try out my new AccuQuilt Qube 8″ Block Set. This resulted in me taking Avery to our local quilt shop and using the fabrics she chose to make this adorable quilt for her bear! This old and very loved bear deserved a fresh quilt. It was a relatively fast project. I love being able to use the AccuQuilt fabric cutting system to cut out all those small pieces of fabric. There’s no worry that the measurements are off and I can focus on designing and sewing my projects.

In practically no time, all my pieces were cut and ready to sew up.

Chain stitching made the half square triangles go very quickly, too.

I quilted big hearts within the 4-patches of each 8″ block.

The Moda fabrics she chose are so soothing–I think it’s perfect for Bobo and her girl, Avery.
