After many requests, I’ve decided to package and sell my Beginning Sewing Program as a teaching kit and lesson guide.

I developed and have fine-tuned my beginning program over years and want to help you develop a program of your own. The kit gives you everything you need to get started right away.

The workbook is a great teaching tool that I developed for my beginning sewing program. It acts as a hands-on curriculum and is designed to give kids a concrete way to learn the basics and develop a firm foundation in sewing. After completing this program, children will be able to sew many beginning projects, including bags, journal covers, and doll clothes.I will gladly share which projects I add to the program for a 5 day summer camp or for future classes.

My program is designed to give kids a very firm foundation in sewing and develop independent skills. Parents, quilt shop owners, and kids all love this program. My beginning classes usually sell out very quickly each time it’s offered. After the kids take this beginning program, they have the skills and confidence to go on to take a number of other sewing classes, such as quilting classes or project-based classes.

I have been teaching this  program for years and teach classes throughout the year, because my program is so effective and fun. In the summer, I earn  a very nice income through teaching sewing full-time. I want to pass the program and all I’ve learned about teaching kids to sew onto others who would like to share their talent of sewing with young people.  My teacher’s kit makes starting a program of your own very easy and gives you a complete program to propose to quilt shops, when you approach them about teaching classes.
