Holiday Hexagon Quilted Placemats
I’ve been so enamored with hexagons lately. I just can’t seem to get enough of them! Those cute tessellating shapes have seemingly endless possibilities for what they may become.
I created these placemats for my daughter who loves cuteness in many forms (find the tutorial here on the AccuQuilt Blog). And she loves the holidays, so I thought she would love to adorn her dining room table with some holiday cuteness.
The AccuQuilt Go die cutting system has made the hexagon cutting a snap. Paired with an applique method, these hexagon trees took hardly any time to make.
Pop over to the AccuQuilt Blog to get the tutorial for these adorable placemats. For the matching Hexagon Log Cabin Hot Pad center piece mini-quilt tutorial, see this post.
I hope you enjoy making some of these hexagon projects!
