A Give-Away to Kick-off the Sewing Club!

How about that? Who doesn’t love free fabric?! To get this party started, I’ll draw a winner from those who “join” the Sew in Style Summer Sewing Club event on the Avery Lane Designs’ facebook page, by June 14. It’s that easy!

You don’t have to “join” the facebook event to join the sewing club. You don’t have to have a facebook account to join in the summer sewing club. Those are both optional ways to participate. The only thing you need to do to be a part of the Sew in Style Summer Sewing Club for kids Is:

1. sew something from the book Sew in Style-Make Your Own Doll Clothes (all by yourself or with help)

2. send in a photo to me (Erin [at] AveryLaneSewing [dot] c o m

That’s really it 🙂 You will automatically be entered into the weekly drawings (first drawing will be June 22).

For a second entry, after joining the event, comment on the event page and tell us which project from Sew in Style-Make Your Own Doll Clothes your kiddo (grandchild, niece, nephew, student, or small person you know) would like to sew first.

I will create a fun package to send, full of high-quality quilt shop fabrics, some trims, and notions appropriate for doll clothes or accessories. Fabrics for weekly prizes are both from Sponsors: Dear Stella, RJR Fabrics, and Timeless Treasures; and myself. Fabrics will be by companies (in addition of our sponsors) such as Riley Blake, Art Gallery, Robert Kaufman, and other fabrics sold only in quilt shops.

Can’t forget to embellish with cute trims and ribbons!

I will draw a name on June 15 and post the winner’s name. I will send the package by priority mail, so the winner can get right to it during week 1 of the online sewing camp!
