It’s So Close

I’m getting so excited for my book, Sew in Style – Make Your Own Doll Clothes, to be released in May. That’s not that far away. I just received my class registration confirmation for the Quilt Market in the mail; last week, I received my advance copy, and I’m setting up classes and book store events.

As these things get planned and scheduled, I will post updates and announcements for you all. There will be reviews and book giveaways for sure. Make sure you don’t miss any by following me on my Facebook page and Twitter…and of course here, my blog.

Facebook is a funny creature, as they changed things up a bit. In order to ensure my posts show up in your feed, you’ll need to like or comment on my posts. This activity tells the facebook program that you want to see my posts on your activity feed page. This way you won’t miss a give away 🙂

I don’t post super often, so I promise not to become a “feed clogger” [I personally “dislike” that, so I wouldn’t want to be that-you know what I mean?] or be too spammy [so “unfriend”-ly in my humble opinion]. I usually share  lots of fun projects that I find from around the wonderful world of blogging  -things I would want to hear about myself.

Anyway, exciting things are on the horizon and I want to make sure I share all the giveaway goodness with you.

I’m very excited about the first book review (and giveaway), because it will include a child’s perspective. The little girl who will be sewing from and reviewing my book is fairly new to sewing and I can’t think of a more appropriate way to review it–it being a sewing book for kids to use 🙂 I look forward to sharing the link with you soon.
