Summer Sewing Challenges

Summer Sewing Challenges

We are part-way through session 2 of the Doll Days Sewing Challenge. Its theme is Seaside Rendezvous. Some really great entries so far!! Take a look:

There’s still plenty of time to enter! Ends July 9 and doll clothes take little time and about a fat quarter of fabric. So easy to enter: just sew and share your photo.

The Sew in Style Summer Sew n Share Session 2 starts in a few days and will go through July 21.

It’s easy for kids to join: just sew a project from Sew in Style, and share it with me. When they do, they will automatically be entered into the drawing for a great prize. Here are the prizes for last sessions… packed and ready to ship:

This year I started a facebook group (link to join group) just for the Sew n Share events, to make it much easy for parents to share their kids’ creations and get entered into the free drawings.

The group is a private group, so no one else sees the posts and you can easily see what everyone else made. Much easier…no emailing, no waiting. If you use facebook, it’s just like posting to your own timeline.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or don’t know how to join.

The prizes for the Seaside Rendezvous Challenge that’s happening right now are these lovely nautical themed packages for the older dolly dressmakers, featuring Dear Stella’s Rock Lobster fabric collection by Jack and Lulu.

Thanks to all who are entering! It’s great to see all your creativity!

Happy Sewing!
